Star GWS Giants forward Jeremy Cameron won't be asked to temper his aggressive approach despite missing the first four rounds of the AFL season due to a high bump.

Giants coach Leon Cameron on Thursday confirmed his namesake will play his first game of the season against St Kilda at Etihad Stadium after being sidelined for a bump that left Brisbane's Rhys Mathieson with a broken cheekbone in a practice match.

"We've worked on some of his technique but I definitely don't want him to lose that aggressive side," Leon Cameron said on Thursday.
